My wife and I stayed at this hotel in the center of Scottsdale's historic district. It was pricey since it was the busiest time of year. The rooms were beautiful, and the suites included little balconies. The staff was quite accommodating. So near to the activity, with dozens of restaurants and fantastic galaries only a few streets away. The pool was excellent, and the jacuzzi was heated. We had some sunlight every day, which was fantastic. The only thing that upset me was that there was no longer complimentary coffee in the lobby and that their in-house Starbucks was more than twice the price of Starbucks. There is complimentary coffee in the room, which is not awful. On Thursday evenings, all galeries are open until 9 p.m. It was a lot of fun to observe outstanding artists, listen to good country music, do some line dancing outdoors, and many galleries were giving out free glasses of wine and finger snacks. There is a new theme each week, and this week was western.
