This hotel should be closed down because it was filthy...the bathroom floor looked like toilet paper on the floor and had urine on it...pee on the floor beside the shower...the motel sign was broken and had no light in it. It seems that it was primarily occupied by the week's visitors. The bedding was filthy, and I had to remove the comforter and cover. When I shook the blanket, it had black stains on it. Had to pull a blanket out of the van and use it...wouldn't have remained if it hadn't been the final accommodation in town...

First and foremost, the entrance doors were shaky and difficult to open. The front desk personnel was unfriendly, never smiling or greeting clients. The room number was 129. The scent from the bathroom was revolting, and we had to keep the door locked all night. The tub and floor were filthy. There were no working jets in the tub. The blankets were ripped. The lighting fittings were rusted and damaged. A huge blanket was put into the heater unit. There was a thick layer of dust behind and around the bed. We discovered two roaches. They promoted HBO, but we only had three channels. There is no HBO. The pool was filthy and very cold. There was a menu for room service in the room. Motel 8 On Shadeland

Although the front desk personnel was kind, the room was unimpressive; the toilet was filthy, and the shower was chilly and had minimal water pressure. The bed had just one flat, limp pillow per person, and the linens and blanket were quite thin. The door had neither peephole or lock, and the motel did not provide wifi internet. The TV also lacked a control, making resting in bed difficult. This hotel was OK for the amount we paid, but I would not recommend it to someone with high requirements and would consider booking a stay at another hotel in the $30-$50 range.
