The hotel was decent, but the receptionist, Dana, left us with a very terrible impression since she was rude, hostile, and unaccomodating to our requirements. Also, we arrived about 1:30 and understood the check-in time was 4:00, but she made no attempt to see if any rooms were available for an early check-in. She told we couldn't wait in the lobby since it was pouring. As a result, we had to wait in our vehicle until check-in time. We walked into the lobby at 3:30, thinking she would be kind and allow us check in, but she refused. Other visitors arrived, and she refused to let them check in as well. We chatted with them, and we all agreed that we had never been treated like this in all of our decades of travel. Gold Beach should reflect long and hard on Dana's awful impression.
