Motel Astoria Oregon

Given the present state of affairs in the United States and throughout the globe as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, the safety of our visitors and employees is our top concern. All of our personnel are tested everyday before going to work and are required to use and wear PPE equipment throughout their shifts. The crew has improved its cleaning methods to guarantee that we are helping to limit the rise for new cases and to do our bit in trying to halt the epidemic. We are taking additional precautions at the hotel to restrict the amount of interaction our guests have with one another. To comply with the new CDC Guidelines, our hot breakfast has been replaced with a grab-and-go packed meal. Our gratis DVD and bicycle services are now on hold. Please follow us on Facebook and Instagram for fresh updates on the property as we work to get back to normal as soon as possible. Thank you very much!

We adore explorers from the Pacific Northwest.

The Astoria Rivershore Motel offers free Wi-Fi in all of its rooms. There is also a microwave, a small fridge, and coffee-making amenities. The kitchen in kitchen suites is completely equipped. The room was spotless and smelt wonderful. The coffee machine and microwave were appealing to me. The shower was excellent, with good pressure and hot water. There was hardly adequate parking for visitors. In the morning, there was coffee and tea available in the reception area. The area was accessible by automobile or foot. The WiFi and TV also functioned great for me. My credit card was accepted without issue by the hotel.

Hotel Elliott is situated in the historic core of Astoria, Oregon, across from the Liberty Theater and overlooking the Columbia River. Astoria offers several historic structures as well as an outstanding museum—the Columbia River Maritime Museum is well worth a visit. Much to my surprise, my 11-year-old granddaughter appreciated it. The displays are well-thought-out, particularly the 44' US Coast Guard Motor Lifeboat exhibition. A visit to the Astoria Column is highly recommended. Climb the 164 steps to the summit for a spectacular view of the Columbia River, ships, and the State of Washington on the other coast. There are several stores, restaurants, and bistros to pick from. The Silver Salmon Grille served us wonderful halibut fish and chips. Their carrot cake was also delicious. Display more Display less

Astoria Plaza pioneered the unusual notion of having privately-owned homes placed inside a luxurious hotel under one property name when it opened its doors in 2001. We established Astoria Boracay, our first excursion into resort building and management, after a decade of providing great hotel service. The success of these two hotels resulted in the formation of Astoria Hotels & Resorts (AHR). Following that, the AHR brand saw six years of tremendous expansion and development, beginning with the 2012 debut of Astoria Bohol and the 2013 introduction of events venue Chardonnay by Astoria. The following year, we debuted our eco-friendly resort Astoria Palawan, as well as our first Japanese restaurant Minami Saki by Astoria. We presented customers to a more genuine and distinctive Japanese dining experience inside Astoria Plaza, led by the late great Executive Chef, Kimito Katagiri.

The primary goal has been met; however, the Company still faces a significant challenge in meeting the expectations of all current and future guests, maintaining the highest quality of services in all of our facilities, and preserving our Company's brand as a distinguished symbol also for the regional catering and hotel offer.

We booked late and had a "view" room with a poor view. The upstairs rooms have the best views. There was a strong pet odor from the moment we walked in. We don't have pets, so that put us off. The area seemed to be clean overall, but the cloth on the chairs near the table was dirty and needed to be washed. The screen door had been torn. There was no hot water when we attempted to shower three times. We had to phone the front desk three times to have it "reset." There was no apology, and we were nearly late for our dinner appointment. Someone decided to take a shower in the middle of the night, and it was so loud that it woke us up. We'll pay the additional money and stay closer to town at a better hotel the next time. Continue reading
